Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail orientated, and energetic E-commerce Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales platforms, ensuring an excellent shopping experience for our online customers, with proven leadership skills, and aware of major details to inventory and quality. This role requires a blend of technical skills and marketing expertise to drive traffic, enhance user engagement, and increase conversion rates across our e-commerce channels. This is a fun, fast-paced work environment where staff is self-motivating and task oriented, provide excellent customer service and produce a high standard of work.

Beginning Hourly Wage: $23.00

Work Schedule: 40 hours

Reports to: Online Thrift Manager

Working with Missoula Thrift Manager, Assistant Manager, & Store Associates

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Online store management: Add and update products, optimize product listings, manage collections, online navigation.

· Order Fulfillment: Pull down and organize daily orders for shipping to ensure a timely delivery.

· Position will perform functions such as scanning, processing, shipping, and listing items of the Flathead Industries Online Thrift Store located in Missoula.

· This person will oversee and participate in the processing, sorting, pricing, tagging, and sales of donated goods with respect to the standards set forth by Flathead Industries and the Manager of Ecommerce

· This position must communicate exceptionally well with management and co-workers in the other stores

· Help create and maintain the stability and reputation of the store and Flathead Industries.

Skills:

· Proficiency in computer skills. Microsoft 365, word, and google (bonus points for experience with apps like Ebay & Amazon).

· Understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced small team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Comfortable with basic photo editing tools would be great (Canva, Photoshop, or similar).

· Self-motivated, tech-savvy, and a collaborative team player.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and pivot as needed in a small startup company environment

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

· This position prefers education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma

· You must have exceptional customer service skills

· You must be able to safely lift and maneuver 0 to 50 pounds.

· You must possess excellent communication skills including reading, writing, speaking, and computer skills.

· You must possess exemplary work ethics and habits including, but not limited to honesty, loyalty, punctuality, and the ability to organize time and information.

Job Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, employee frequently communicates with customers, donors, co-workers and consumers. During a normal 8-hour shift, employee will be talking, hearing, standing up and moving at least 90% of the time. Bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching are common motions to be expected. Walking surfaces are concrete and both the walking and working surfaces are normally even. Exposure to sights, sounds, odors, and physical or verbal aggression may be encountered.
