Account Executive – Full-Cycle Sales (Remote)

As an Account Executive at Turn, you’ll take full ownership of the sales process, from generating leads to sealing the deal. You bring hustle, professionalism, and an appetite to grow in a startup environment that’s redefining the background check space for high-volume workforces.
This is a full-cycle sales role, ideally suited for someone with experience selling in background check technology, consumer reporting agencies (CRAs), HRIS platforms, or applicant tracking systems (ATS), particularly to buyers in HR, operations, or staffing. If you’ve worked with companies in the background screening ecosystem or sold compliance-driven tools to enterprise or mid-market HR teams, you’ll ramp quickly and feel right at home.
Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting and lead qualification to demo, negotiation, and close.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline using CRM tools and outbound sequences.
Conduct one-on-one product demos tailored to prospect needs.
Facilitate testing, pilots, and onboarding coordination with prospects and internal teams.
Lead contract negotiations and own the delivery of MSAs and final agreements.
Represent Turn at key industry trade shows and business conferences.
2+ years of individual quota-carrying B2B sales experience.
Proven track record of exceeding quota in a fast-paced, full-cycle sales environment.
Experience in background checks, HR tech, or compliance platforms strongly preferred.
SaaS and software product demo experience preferred.
Excellent command of digital sales techniques (email, LinkedIn, social) and cold calling.
Deep familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales execution.
Comfortable in ambiguity and energized by startup velocity.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

This is a fully remote role, open to candidates based anywhere in the continental United States. Preference will be given to candidates located in Chicago, IL or who can align with Central Time Zone hours.
