We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in energy, technology, and a passion to deliver products for a growing company. The IT Finance and Vendor Manager will play a pivotal role in managing our IT infrastructure Budgets and ensuring the efficient operation of our IT services. Responsibilities include overseeing license management, resource planning, monthly billing, forecasting, and strategic planning. Additionally, this position requires effective vendor management and the ability to drive operational improvements.
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the role requires a self-motivated, dedicated, and responsible individual with the ability to perform well under pressure.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- License Management: Administer software licenses to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Resource Planning and Monthly Billing: Develop and implement resource plans and manage monthly billing processes for accurate financial reporting.
- Forecasting: Conduct forecasting to anticipate future IT needs and budgetary requirements.
- Operational Improvements: Identify and implement enhancements to productivity and efficiency in work processes.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and executing IT Finance strategies that align with business goals.
- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with IT vendors to ensure quality service delivery and contract adherence.
- Compliance and IRM Support: Provide support for Compliance and IRM (Information Risk Management) activities as part of other operational responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in IT management or similar roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of software license management and IT infrastructure.
- Proficient in resource planning and budgeting.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Proven capability to manage and improve operational workflows.
- Experience in strategic planning and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to provide timely and accurate data analysis.
- Strong business writing skills and experience developing communication in various formats.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Learner mindset and eye for continuous improvement needs.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
- Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge.

Location and work SCHEDULE
- Required to be in-person in Houston, TX, through a hybrid workplace environment
