EHS Regional Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable EHS Coordinator will oversee our Georgia division. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and health of our workforce by implementing and overseeing safety protocols on project sites. This position requires a strong understanding of occupational health standards, compliance management, and risk management practices. The EHS Coordinator will work closely with various teams to build a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of project sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide training and resources to employees on occupational health practices, emergency procedures, and safe work practices. Lead safety training and orientation for all employees.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into construction management plans.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training sessions for compliance with TRP safety program.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Field Specific Responsibilities
- Visit and walk the jobsites on a regular basis to establish EHS presence and provide support.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly EHS Meetings/Trainings and schedule as needed.
- Perform field safety observations during each visit.
- Ability to evaluate PPE and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE.
- Conduct critical behavior-based safety observations as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Business Unit EHS Director.
- Oversight and Implementation of Day-to-Day field operations.
- Work with the facility leadership and field teams to ensure work practices are understood and followed.
Key Performance Indicators
- This position will be responsible for influencing the following performance metrics:
- EHS Management System Facility Action Plans
- Region EHS Training Compliance: >95%
- OSHA Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR): <10%
- OSHA Days Away Restricted and Transfer Cases (DART)
- Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
- Individual Development Plan and Status
- Weekly Branch Location Visit Summary Completion: 8/week – 32/month – 384/year
- Notification of Injury / Incident / Motor Vehicle Collision
- Driver Qualification Files and Compliance: >95% Responsible Vehicle Accident Rate
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of work experience in the EHS Field.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office software applications, software management systems, EHS management systems and reporting platforms.
- Relevant certifications in EHS or safety management are highly desirable.
