About the role
Responsible for commercial merchandising activities across planning, trading and execution of tasks related to the product lifecycle and commercial planning. Actions have a direct impact on maximising customer satisfaction, sales and profitability through effective commercial and inventory management to achieve overall business objectives and targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Merchandise Financial Plan to support strategic objectives and commercial budgets.
- Construct annual commercial budgets to deliver business objectives.
- Ensure effective stock flow through the business for your department of accountability, by robust planning.
- Create stock profile for your relevant department to support strategic and commercial objective, whilst managing availability targets.
- Manage effective pricing approach throughout the product lifecycle to ensure volume and margin maintained, whilst stocks managed, aligning to the trading plan.
- Manage and optimise the critical path to effectively fulfil merchandise plans.
- Optimise product lifecycle including replenishment with utilisation of the Forecasting application.
- Continual review and improvement of end to end processes and technical scope to deliver consistent best practice and efficiencies throughout.
- Working in collaboration with logistics, operations and sourcing, establish opportunity to increase speed to market. · Identify opportunity within the P&L to reduce cost.
- Leverage data to best inform strategic business insights and relevant application.
