ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Coordinate Procurement, Contracting Requirements, and General Requirements with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers
- Work with Architects and Designers to identify the required project specification sections for Divisions 00-14
- Work with Architects and Designers to assemble product info for required specifications. Review architectural and structural drawings and provide comments and redlines as necessary related to product detailing and general constructability
- Complete specifications for Divisions 00-14, and coordinate with other disciplines
- Assemble the final specifications project manual for competitive bidding and construction
- Review and maintain Master Specifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working at an Architectural/Engineering firm
- Experience in reading and understanding construction drawings
- Experience in the construction industry, preferred, but not required
- Experience in writing specifications, preferred, but not required
- Proficient using Speclink, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
- Ability to research products, manufacturers, codes, standards, and rules and regulations related to writing specifications
