Job Description

As an Senior Expertise & Innovation Specialist for 55's Shenzhen office, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of delivery done by our consultants for the data-led engagements to variety of clients. These engagements will be driven by client objectives related to data collection, customer acquisition, onsite conversion optimization, media-mix optimization and digital strategy. During these engagements, you will be the trusted expert in and out of the room, making sure the methodology followed is sound and the technology involved is used to its full potential. When required, you will be client-facing and lead the delivery of a technical topic.

You will report to the Head of China office and work closely with Consulting and Engineering teams, ensuring the seamless integration of their operations. You will validate technical deliverables to internal and external stakeholders. To do this effectively, you need to have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of web analytics, adtech and martech. You understand the forces which make these tools tick; what is required or them to function. And what’s needed for them to excel. You have an idea about the opportunities enabled by Cloud technologies with regard to Marketing and Analytics and have the desire to work on ground-breaking integrations between these to enable game-changing activations for your clients.

Responsibilities

  • Work with digital analytics team to design the technical architecture for the ecosystem of marketing tools (Google Analytics, DoubleClick Suite, Data Management Platforms, Tag Management Solutions, Adobe Analytics, Cloud Platform including GCP, AWS and Azure, etc) in order to enable the implementation of new consumer experience & media use cases
  • Work with Global engineering team to fully specify data processing pipelines (database schemas, integrity constraints, delivery throughput) for use case activations
  • Work with Data Science team to scope and check typical machine learning and AI project requirements
  • Work with the CN team to help deliver the different projects to reach the highest level of satisfaction
  • Ensure ongoing projects’ success by being the principal stakeholder of their monitoring and performance
  • Work with our technology partners and the digital analytics team to assist in pre-sales work delivery such as contributing to RFP responses and demos for new project opportunities

Education and Experience Required

  • Undergraduate degree in data, analytics, related area (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in web analytics, adtech & martech implementation design and deployment, with hands-on tag management skills
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: conversion rate optimization, performance marketing, attribution modelling, visitor/customer Segmentation
  • Proven experience in implementing or developing applications utilizing AI on cloud platforms.
  • Experience in Cloud-based data projects
  • Experience in statistical analysis and machine learning is a plus
