Job Summary:
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager or Director of HR and People Ops to help scale and evolve our People function as we continue to grow globally. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-impact environment, cares deeply about people experience and culture, and can build scalable systems and programs that empower teams to do their best work. Reporting to the VP of People Strategy, this role will be a key partner in building and delivering people programs that support our high-performing, mission-driven team.
Job Responsibilities:
-Lead the development and execution of core People Operations programs, including compensation, benefits, performance management, onboarding, and compliance.
-Build and continuously improve processes, systems, and policies to support a distributed, international workforce.
-Partner closely with the COO and leadership team on org design, workforce planning, and scaling the team responsibly.
-Manage and mentor a small team (with room to grow), ensuring high-quality support and operations across the employee lifecycle.
-Ensure a consistent and inclusive employee experience across global regions, aligning with DeleteMe’s values and remote-first culture.
-Own key People systems (e.g., HRIS, performance tools) and lead vendor selection, implementation, and optimization.
-Partner with Finance and Legal teams on audits, reporting, and compliance across jurisdictions.
Job Requirements:
-Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR, ideally in a high-growth, distributed SaaS environment.
-Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and scale people programs that are both strategic and operational.
-Deep knowledge of U.S. employment practices; international experience is a strong plus.
-Experience leading and mentoring HR/People teams, with a people-first approach to leadership.
-Strong analytical skills and familiarity with using people data to drive decisions.
-Comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, and building from scratch.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; building trust and credibility with employees at all levels.
-This role requires domestic and international travel. All standard travel expenses will be covered in accordance with the company's travel reimbursement policy.
