WHAT IS THE JOB?

The Digital Engagement Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the organization’s digital marketing strategy across paid media, SEO/SEM, and web platforms. This role oversees the performance of digital channels to ensure alignment with organizational goals related to engagement, lead generation, and overall digital effectiveness. The position also manages website functionality, analytics, and cross-departmental collaboration to support integrated marketing efforts.

Pay rates for this position:

We bring in all employees at the midpoint of the salary range for your role. Knowing that not all cities share the same cost of labor, we make offers using a tiered approach based on your geographical location. While the majority reside in Zone 1 or Zone 2 areas, we acknowledge variations, even within counties, ensuring fair compensation for all based on their specific location's cost of labor.

For the Digital Engagement Manager position, here is what we will offer:

Zone 1 (areas characterized by lower labor costs [e.g., Charleston, WV, Cleveland, OH, Phoenix, AZ, Omaha, NE, etc.]): $75,439 annually

Zone 2 (areas with moderate labor costs [e.g., Syracuse, NY, Ann Arbor, MI, Denver, CO, San Diego, CA, etc.]): $81,096 annually

Zone 3 (areas known for high labor costs [e.g., Washington, D.C., Trenton, NJ, Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA, etc.]): $86,754 annually

Zone 4 (areas with the highest labor costs [e.g., Bridgeport, CT, New York City, NY, San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, etc.]): $96,184 annually

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE?

  • Lead and manage paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), TikTok, and emerging channels to drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Develop and implement SEO and SEM strategies to improve both organic and paid search performance.
  • Monitor and optimize website performance, including technical SEO, site speed, UX/UI enhancements, and tracking/analytics configuration.
  • Serve as the organization’s webmaster, ensuring website functionality, processing internal web update requests, maintaining content accuracy, and proactively improving the digital user experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Field Engagement Managers, Engagement Strategists, and other stakeholders to align digital efforts with organizational goals and optimize campaign impact.
  • Analyze and report on campaign and site performance, using data insights to inform strategic direction and continuous improvement.
  • Write and edit compelling digital content for landing pages, emails, and ad campaigns with a focus on engagement and conversion.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, and platform innovations to ensure best practices are consistently applied.

  • You bring at least 3 years of experience in digital marketing and a background in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • You are willing to travel to some of our events which may include Summer Institutes, National Conference, and our annual All Staff meeting.
