Job Description
The position for Java Software Engineer is currently available at Moxie Labs. This role requires an enthusiastic and experienced Java developer who can thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment. The Java Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that drive our applications and enhance user experience.
As part of our engineering team, you will participate in the full development lifecycle, from planning to design, development, testing, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to the architecture and design of software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Implement best practices in coding and production deployments.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of scalable software solutions.
- Work with QA engineers to ensure software quality through comprehensive testing.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define and prioritize features.
- Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Java programming and software development.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and others.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
