POSITION SUMMARY:
Join our dynamic People and Culture team as a Manager, where you'll lead initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. This role focuses on strengthening employee engagement, driving recruitment strategies, and advising leadership on key HR matters. Be a strategic partner in shaping our culture and supporting our people.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • General counselling, recruitment, employee orientation, training and development, talent management, succession planning, policy development and administration
  • Provide council and advice to leadership team in areas related to company policies, employment standards and laws, performance and attendance violations, termination procedures, conflict issues, development opportunities and all other employee relation matters
  • Identify organizational areas of concern through analysis of general employee feedback including exit interviews and work closely with leadership to provide recommendations
  • Manage all recruitment and selection activities for all organizational levels
  • Manage new employee orientation process
  • Responsible for the oversight of the preparation and maintenance of accurate employee records, files and reports
  • Responsible for various required compliance filing
  • Work closely with social committees to assist with planning, communicating budgets and expectations.
  • Compensation administration including conducting market analysis and annual wage review process
  • Responsible to ensure all key controls (ICFR Internal Controls) identified under their area of responsibility are designed and operating as outlined in the internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Ensure policies and processes are established and adhered to ensure goals and objectives for all regulatory and legal requirements are met including organizational quality, environmental, health & safety programs.
  • Responsible to track and provide reports to ensure company is compliant with internal and external requirements, this includes various training requirements to include, but not limited to, Harassment training and first responder certifications

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Minimum of 10 years progressive HR experience with 3 years management
  • Proficient in HRIS’s
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build positive relationships across the organization 
  • Proven track record in leading HR projects or change management initiatives
  • Experience with policy development, compensation planning, payroll processing, and benefits administration
