Responsibilities
Reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Responsibilities include assessment, planning,intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursingcare of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, includingsupervision of OR Technicians.
This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited RN program
Current California Registered Nurse license.
- Current approved health care provider CPR - BLS certification may be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Current PALS may be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Current ACLS or completion of ACLS course within 30 days of employment.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years experience preferred.
