Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

Top Tier Reps is seeking highly motivated Workers’ Compensation Attorneys to join our expanding legal team. This fully remote position is ideal for attorneys who want the flexibility of telework while working in a supportive, collaborative, and high-performing environment.

As a Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney, you will manage the legal defense of workers’ compensation cases from inception through resolution. You’ll work directly with employers, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers to provide top-tier legal representation and results.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of workers’ compensation matters from initial assignment through resolution
• Conduct depositions of applicants, medical and vocational experts
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
• Represent clients in hearings, status conferences, and trials before the WCAB
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and claims professionals
• Perform legal research and draft correspondence and memoranda
• Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure proactive case management
• Maintain compliance with client billing guidelines and deadlines

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active member of the California State Bar
• Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation law
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple deadlines
• Committed to ethical, client-centered practice
• Must reside in California
