As a rapidly scaling AI/ML technology company, we are looking to expand our team.


We are seeking a Lead Software Architect to lead the design and development of our AI-driven platform, Manifest. This role is pivotal in shaping the technical direction of our products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that meet both current and future needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Leadership: Define and drive the architectural vision for our software platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements.
  • Technical Oversight: Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software systems, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and data science teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into our solutions where appropriate.


Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an architectural or principal engineer role.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), containerization (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
  • AI/ML Exposure: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in real-world systems.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Security & Compliance: Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements, especially in defense or government sectors.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Defense Industry Experience: Experience working on defense software platforms or dual-use technologies.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects on time.

$170,000 - $200,000 a year
