The Role
As Senior Director of Consumer Marketing, you will lead a team to drive Lark’s full-funnel consumer marketing strategy—owning acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention. You’ll champion the voice of the member, drive experimentation, and deliver measurable growth across key KPIs such as enrollment, activation, and long-term retention. You’ll also play a critical role in scaling operational systems that support consistent execution, compliance, and measurable outcomes.
This is a strategic and cross-functional leadership role that works closely with product, content, commercial, operations, and clinical teams to build and scale meaningful customer journeys.
What You’ll Do
Marketing Strategy & Roadmap
Build and maintain a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategic roadmap that aligns with company goals and guides cross-functional initiatives
Acquisition & Onboarding
Build omnichannel campaigns to increase awareness and drive enrollment
Partner with Product and Content teams to optimize onboarding flows for conversion
Engagement & Retention
Partner with product management to drive lifecycle strategies, including CRM, push, SMS, and in-app messaging
Increase member retention and satisfaction through personalized journeys
User Insights & Strategy
Develop a deep understanding of user behaviors, barriers, and motivators through data and research
Translate insights into powerful positioning and messaging strategies
Budget, Optimization & Reporting:
Manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient resource allocation while monitoring key performance indicators (e.g., CAC, activation, LTV). Drive continuous experimentation and A/B testing to maximize campaign effectiveness and ROI
Stakeholder Engagement
Represent Lark in external presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and meetings with partner stakeholders, effectively communicating marketing strategies, progress, and impact.Marketing Strategy & Roadmap
What You’ll Need
Success in building campaigns across multiple channels, including email, SMS, direct mail, social media, etc
Experience building operational marketing systems—from campaign workflows to reporting infrastructure
Strong analytical skills, comfortable reviewing and analyzing business performance metrics and KPIs, with the ability to pivot based on the data
Track record of improving executional efficiency, campaign automation, and scalable processes
Experienced with CRM tools (Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), data literacy (Tableau), and growth frameworks
Strong track record of campaign performance improvement (e.g., reduced CAC, lift in activation, retention, or LTV)
Success in bringing out the best in teammates, direct reports, and external partners as a mentor and manager
Deftness at navigating an organization and forming strong partnerships with multiple cross-functional teams
Familiarity with HIPAA, TCPA, and healthcare-related marketing compliance requirements
12+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, and/or customer experience management with high-engagement consumer products, especially mobile apps in health plan, PBM or virtual care/digital health
