Automotive Sensing - Product Marketing Manager

Job Description
onsemi’s Intelligent Sensing Group (ISG) is looking for a product marketing manager in the Automotive Sensing Division. This candidate will work on cutting edge image sensor technology helping to save lives in ADAS and autonomous driving systems used by vehicle manufacturers, by defining image sensor product requirements based on market needs and managing the product throughout the entire lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive differentiated product requirements for the target Automotive market segment, customers, applications, and partners solving problems that matter
- Manage products throughout the entire product lifecycle including strategic and tactical activities such as product definition, promotion, collateral generation and customer support
- Translate customer needs into use case and technical requirements for R&D
- Develop and maintain preliminary product proposals, platform business plans, and whole product plans for new product introduction automotive image sensors as part of the product lifecycle management process
- Work with the broader ecosystem partnership and applications teams to define whole hardware/software solutions that are easy to use and leverage scalable ecosystems to support product development and growth with target customers
- Develop and communicate a deep understanding of the markets, customers and technical requirements to drive commercial success
- Collaborate with sales, business development, engineering, project management and corporate marketing teams to guide product execution, priorities and delivery
- Work closely with global sales to engage customers and design in activities
- Work with Go-To-Market team to develop and deliver content including competitive positioning, product updates, sales trainings, webinars, whitepapers, product launches, marketing activities, sales enablement and product training
- Travel periodically to domestic and international locations to visit our global sites and key customers in North America, Europe and Asia
- Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in image sensors or automotive semiconductors
- Strong knowledge of automotive ecosystem including sensor suppliers, SoC vendors, Tier-1 manufacturers, & OEMs
- Proven track record of defining and delivering successful products to market
- Solid understanding of product marketing and product definition processes like product lifecycle milestones, pricing management, and sales funnel tracking
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a track record of presenting to executive management
- Experience working with customers and partners to promote product roadmaps and features to drive design wins
- Ability to motivate and excite people and influence customers and internal stakeholders
- Self-driving, self-motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic, adaptable, organized with attention to detail
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or other engineering discipline
