VP of Financing and Investments
Job Description
Our client, a rapidly expanding hospitality and real estate investment company, is seeking a VP of Financing and Investments for a newly created position. This growing organization operates a diverse portfolio including quick-service restaurant franchises, luxury hotels, multifamily residential properties, and fine dining establishments across the southeastern United States.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a family-oriented, values-driven company during a significant growth phase. The successful candidate will work directly with the C-suite to drive strategic investment decisions and optimize the company's capital structure across multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions
- Lead asset management initiatives and conduct comprehensive investment analysis
- Manage capital calls and coordinate bank draws for ongoing projects
- Source, evaluate, and structure new loan opportunities and financing solutions
- Conduct pre-screening and due diligence on potential acquisitions and investments
- Review existing loan portfolio and identify refinancing opportunities to optimize terms
- Negotiate and issue term sheets for various financing transactions
- Prepare internal memoranda and presentations for deal approval processes
- Collaborate with underwriting teams and manage transaction closings
- Provide regular communication to stakeholders regarding deal status and progress
- Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L performance across portfolio
- Support strategic planning initiatives for continued portfolio expansion
Required:
- Master's degree in Corporate Finance, Investment Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, investment management, or commercial finance
- Strong relationship building and networking capabilities
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven track record in financial analysis and deal structuring
Preferred:
- MBA in Finance
- Experience with hospitality or real estate investments
- Background with multi-asset portfolio management
Compensation:
- Base salary: $150,000 - $175,000
- Performance-based bonus structure (details to be finalized)
- Sign-on bonus potential after 90-day period
