Engineering Manager (Remote - Germany)

One of our companies is currently looking for an Engineering Manager in Germany.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a cross-functional engineering team in building innovative products that transform the retail and fashion industry. You will oversee the full product development lifecycle, from technical discovery to delivery, while ensuring a high level of execution and collaboration. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to drive team performance in a remote-first environment. You’ll work closely with product managers and cross-functional experts, including software engineers, data scientists, and QA professionals, to build solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Accountabilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of engineers, fostering continuous growth and performance
• Set and guide the technical direction of your team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals
• Own and optimize delivery processes to ensure timely, high-quality feature releases
• Collaborate with product managers in the discovery phase, providing input on feasibility and scope
• Identify and address technical and operational risks before they impact delivery
• Actively unblock the team and remove obstacles to maintain momentum and focus

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Experience working in or managing cross-functional teams with data science and data engineering expertise
• Proficiency in software development across multiple languages and technologies
• Familiarity with SaaS and data-driven applications is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, analytical mindset
• Based in Germany and able to work effectively in a distributed, remote-first setup
