Senior Manager, Performance Management

The Senior Manager, Performance Management, acts as a strategic leader, guiding a team of performance managers and channel specialists to deliver outstanding results for high-value clients. This role partners closely with clients to align campaign strategies with business objectives, champions a data-driven approach to optimization, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. The Senior Manager serves as a trusted advisor, combining strategic insight with technical expertise to help the team and clients achieve—and exceed—performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor performance managers and channel specialists, providing direction and support throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Guide the team in developing, implementing, and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across digital platforms.
  • Facilitate regular client performance reviews, sharing insights, progress updates, and actionable recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to define KPIs and ensure all activities are aligned with desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with creative, sales, and account teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality campaigns.
  • Act as a senior escalation point, helping the team quickly resolve challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Maintain current certifications in key platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) and encourage ongoing learning within the team.
  • Conduct and interpret platform audits, search query reports, and campaign health checks to proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Champion a transparent, data-driven culture, ensuring campaign recommendations and optimizations are grounded in robust analysis.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and building strong, long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading and mentoring performance marketing teams, with a track record of success in digital campaign management.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience using platform tools for audits, optimization, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven success in managing client relationships and presenting to stakeholders.
  • Active certifications in Google Ads and Meta, with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

The base salary for this role is between $90,000 - $100,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
