Job Description SummaryThe Marketing Communications - Digital, Content and Campaigns Specialist is responsible for creating, optimizing, and analyzing content that enhances brand engagement and supports data-driven digital marketing initiatives across the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) portfolio (Molecular Imaging and Contrast Media). The Specialist will cultivate a strong understanding of all PDx product strategies established by the marketing managers and associate marketing managers to effectively help support the execution of campaign tactical plans.
This role blends content development with digital marketing and data analytics, leveraging insights to optimize content strategies and digital marketing efforts. The Specialist will work closely with the brand, content, and digital marketing teams to ensure cohesive, effective messaging and data-informed decision-making across all digital platforms, in addition to seamless execution of campaigns that align with the company’s marketing objectives.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation and Optimization: Across the portfolio (Molecular Imaging and Contrast Media) Develop and optimize content for various digital channels, including websites, social media, blogs, email campaigns, and marketing collateral. Ensure content aligns with brand messaging and digital marketing objectives.
- Digital Marketing Campaign Support: Across the portfolio, collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that supports digital campaigns, including personalized messaging, promotional offers, and AI-driven marketing automation efforts. Execute advertising and promotional campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels. Contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns, helping to develop engaging content and promotional materials that resonate with target audiences. Assist in tracking campaign performance.
- Website Support: Lead the creation and editing of webpages on GEHealthcare.com, as well as various campaign landing pages.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Across the portfolio, utilize data analytics tools to measure the performance of content and campaigns across digital platforms. Provide insights to improve content strategies and enhance customer engagement.
- SEO and Content Performance: Implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search engine ranking. Monitor and analyze SEO performance, making adjustments to content as needed.
- Content Calendar Management: Assist in maintaining a content calendar across the portfolio that aligns with both brand and digital marketing initiatives. Ensure timely production and distribution of content across all relevant platforms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand and Content Manager, Manager of Digital and AI Marketing, and other teams (e.g., sales, product development) across the portfolio to ensure content strategies are aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Data-Driven Content Strategies: Use data insights to guide content creation, ensuring that content resonates with target audiences and supports digital marketing goals. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend adjustments based on performance data.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all content complies with industry regulations, company standards, and brand guidelines. Review and proofread content to maintain accuracy and quality.
Key Capabilities:
- Strong writing and story telling skills to create engaging content for target audience – experience with all content formats (print, digital, video, social).
- Excellent organizational, time-management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, while interacting professionally with internal team, cross-functional teams, and external vendors.
- Experience with marketing software and tools, such as Salesforce CRM, Showpad sales enablement and Marketo (marketing automation platforms).
- Experience with using data analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, SEMRush) to track content performance and SEO metrics.
- Experience managing content projects and supporting content calendar.
- Ability to support multiple digital marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or data analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of using data insights to improve content performance and digital marketing effectiveness.
- Strong organizational, writing, and data analysis skills.
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CMS platforms, and SEO tools preferred.
- Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign preferred.
