WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Our growing team is seeking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer looking to build and maintain internal collaboration tools (e.g., digital signage, collaboration boards, bots, conferencing) that enable seamless communication and productivity across the organization. This candidate should have multiple years of experience building web applications and are familiar with video telephony design patterns.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient full-stack applications that meet the needs of client's collaboration tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality software products
- Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts to ensure smooth release cycles
- Design and implement data workflows to collect, process, and store meeting data from Zoom and Webex
- Develop data visualizations and reports to provide insights on meeting usage and trends
- Integrate LLaMA models into our applications, enabling advanced features such as speech recognition and text summarization.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of our video telephony systems, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the development of best practices and standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our products and services
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and performance
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and C++
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong understanding of back-end technologies, including Node.js, Django, or Flask
- Familiarity with various databases, including relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and distributed query engines (Presto) that support fast, scalable, and efficient querying of large datasets across multiple data sources (Hive, Cassandra).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Experience with various internal tools and technologies
- Participation in open-source projects or contributions to the developer community
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
- Familiarity with LLMs like LLaMA
