The Client Lead for the respective client is directly responsible for the end-to-end delivery of client work across all dentsu brands globally. This role requires a visionary architect who can build and execute, with stellar communication skills. Must have strong influencing skills, stakeholder and change management capabilities. Ideally has led a complex integrated client regionally or globally. Specifics include:

  • Creating a collaborative and achieving culture for a team that comes from a mix of brands with one focus – to help the client win.

  • Seamless integration of capability delivering exceptional business outcomes for the client.

  • Identify/integrate new capability that allows the client to deliver stronger results and maximize the impact of their marketing investment and effort.

  • Leverage the strong and long-standing iProspect/dentsu relationship to drive greater connection of services and results for the client.

  • Accountability for the revenue and profit growth across capabilities.

  • Contribute to business planning and business performance reviews and champion the vision and values of the business to create a high-achievement and innovative culture where employees can learn and deliver their best work.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with iProspect/dentsu brands to develop the strategic vision for the client and our relationship with dentsu.

  • Work across iProspect/dentsu teams to deliver on that vision.

  • Responsible for integrated P&L – both revenue and profit growth.

  • Educate, influence, and interact with other iProspect business leaders.

  • Understands clients' marketing challenges within a larger business context and is able to engage them on issues and opportunities well outside the current scope of the relationship.

  • Ambassador of collaboration. This individual lives and breathes the values of both iProspect and dentsu. Energizes and inspires by communicating a compelling client vision, actively manages the development of team members, and promotes diversity and inclusion.

  • Financially astute and operationally savvy. Leads with cultural sensitivity and understanding to operate effectively and efficiently in different businesses and markets.

  • Embodies credibility and confidence to lead senior colleagues and is able to strike an appropriate balance between having responsibility for finding solutions and maintaining trust/alignment with stakeholders and other colleagues.

  • Highly experienced in the delivery of regional marketing services. This includes identifying resources and capabilities within dentsu that can be offered to clients as a business solution.

  • Successful track record managing multiple relationships in a matrixed environment and finding a way to create solutions, maintain high levels of satisfaction and building equity in the client relationship.

  • Act as a role model across our matrix business to ensure clear roles and responsibilities exist and enable smooth collaboration between disciplines, functions and dentsu brands.

  • Promote the business effectively internally and externally and encourage and lead your team to be active in the industry.

  • Attract, develop and retain talent as part of implementing a talent strategy for iProspect/dentsu client team.

Professional Skills:

  • Experience leading a complex regional or global client with multiple SOW’s

  • A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player

  • Experienced marketing leader who has worked with iconic global brands. Proven track record, demonstrating discipline and commercial strength.

  • Fully versed in leading change in complex organizations and implementing new operating models spanning across multiple marketing disciplines.

  • A decisive individual who possesses a “big picture” perspective

  • Understands how to deliver in a way that motivates and drives high performance

  • Retail experience a plus

  • 15+ years leading and driving growth and team

  • Strong preference for this individual to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
