We are developing an end-to end approach that provides design, design thinking, agile and lean approaches to product development. We are looking for a Category Manager General to support our key projects designing innovation tools, training and experiences.

This role is initially set to last until the end of 2025, with a possible extension. Only part-time employment is available as the form of cooperation.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of the Category Strategy and Annual Category Plan in collaboration with the Global Category Lead.

• Implement the sourcing business plan within the designated area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Drive initiatives within assigned categories, contribute to the development of category targets, and support the delivery of savings where applicable.

• Aggregate and analyze category-level data across divisions to support top down target setting.

• Gather and evaluate supplier, market, category, and internal business information at both category and sub-category levels.

• Assist in preparing materials for supplier segmentation processes as directed by Global Category Lead.

• Coordinate the sourcing of production equipment materials for inter company movements.

• Support the tracking and documentation of risk and issue management related to the category.

• Facilitate contract lifecycle management, including execution and compliance monitoring.

• Apply procurement best practices across disciplines such as category management, negotiation, contract management, systems and processes, and project or information management.

• Ensure timely reporting of technical complaints, adverse events, or exceptional cases within 24 hours of receipt.

• Manage the distribution of marketing samples where applicable.

• 5+ years of experience working within complex, matrixed organizations with a broad range of responsibilities.

• Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing functions, particularly category management.

• Proven ability to lead and support major change initiatives.

• Effective in collaborating across functions and geographies.

• Ability to represent the procurement function to both internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Demonstrated skills in operational management and execution.

• Strong customer orientation with the ability to analyze and meet internal and external needs.

• Skilled negotiator with a focus on achieving optimal supplier outcomes.

• Proficient in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.

• Experienced in vendor relationship management and performance evaluation.
