Position Overview:
Create accurate, practical content to support Healthcare pharmacy technician training and educational products.
\n- Uphold Colibri’s mission to provide peer-guided, unbiased training and educational solutions.
- Using peer-reviewed and other high-quality references, develop healthcare-related content that answers subscriber questions and meets pharmacy technicians’ educational needs and practice gaps.
- Support content development for pharmacy technician education programs to meet national standards and requirements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for content mapping to ensure pharmacy technician training products meet accreditation standards.
- Contribute to the development, enhancement, and delivery of pharmacy technician training programs by creating and reviewing educational content, actively participating in strategic meetings, and leading or supporting live webinars and podcasts.
- Follow established procedures and instructions, including utilizing internal style guide and appropriate external resources.
- Search the internet and PubMed to verify references are correctly cited or linked to appropriate sources.
- Organize and prioritize high volumes of content while meeting deadlines.
- Ensure all content meets the company's high-quality specifications, including being accurate, practical, and concise.
- Follow accreditation standards when developing and delivering continuing education activities.
- Participate in the accomplishment of departmental goals and objectives.
- Meet productivity and continuous improvement expectations.
- Attend and participate in pharmacy technician conferences based on business needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet client needs.
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Current national pharmacy technician certification
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working in a community or hospital setting
- Working knowledge of adult learning principles
- Excellent attention to detail while in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Passion for learning with the ability to think critically
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take on additional projects as needed
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Experience in writing clinical content, teaching pharmacy technician content, and writing exams
- Experience in an educational setting
- Experience in project management
- Experience interpreting scientific information and utilizing technical vocabulary
- Experience utilizing content and learning management systems
- Experience with AI software
- Experience proofreading, copy editing, or testing functionality
- Experience giving verbal presentations or podcast participation
