Responsible for driving the analytics, data and information gathering vital to achieve the strategic objectives. Work with team members and customers across Micron’s global sites, work collaboratively to lead profitability objectives and achieves future cost-down aspirations. Collaborate with various sourcing and collaborators. Guide the team in supervising key internal metrics, and evaluate category market conditions/trends, supply/demand challenges and other pertinent category dynamics. Lead cross-functional initiatives across category teams and customers with the category analysts. Responsible for developing and implementing actionable insights that enable the category team to achieve business objectives. In-depth proficiency in Cost Savings, Spend Analytics, and overall Category Scorecards to leaders. Provide oversite to team members to ensure data integrity and accessibility and partner with IT, BI, Fin, Eng, Mfg. Lead external market intelligence analysis, problem-solving, benchmarking and solution development. Evaluate data and information to find opportunities and cost savings, and deliver recommendations to support the strategic direction. Collect and use financial data for suppliers, and provide guidance for interpretation. Drive positive relationships and communicate optimally with customers to achieve business objectives. Actively engage with procurement leadership and cross-functional business clients, working together to design and implement plans into tangible results. May telecommute part-time.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Strategic Category Analyst-related occupation. Position requires:

1. O365, SharePoint, Tableau, or Power BI;

2. Data cleansing, data visualization, and data management to interpret large datasets, ensure data accuracy, and present meaningful data;

3. Supply Chain Analytics, including analyzing supply chain data to improve efficiency and reduce costs;

4. Analytics Software, financial and other analytics software;

5. Agile in adopting new tools and methods for continuous improvement and better business outcomes;

6. BOM forecasting;

7. SAP software system.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $133,000.00 - $185,000 per Year. For additional pay & benefits information, please refer to the requisition at Micron.com/careers.
