About the Position:
In this position, you will be the Senior Administrator of the company Salesforce system, overseeing the operation of Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Revenue Cloud services.
In your day-to-day work, you will:
- Oversee platform availability, security, and core function
- Provide break/fix support and guidance to Sales staff
- Assist separate Salesforce engineering teams in their project work
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and procedural issues to the business and IT
- Use judgment and initiative to review, analyze and develop solutions and applicable business processes for business systems while identifying and quantifying the business impact of those solutions to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, timeliness and customer service, including the resolution of large, complex production system problems
- Provide systems analysis expertise and regularly consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
- Coordinate ongoing user support for ad hoc questions, inquiries, and service requests.
- Ensure efficiency of reporting and data tools for supported business area use and for trend analysis
- Coordinate the system support processes with IT; coordinate daily to resolve production support issues, including application failures and user errors; document, track and report all system support activities
- Work collaboratively on projects and initiatives with the business and IT to test and implement long-term solutions by eliciting and documenting business requirements and preparing appropriate functional specifications while considering technical capabilities of the system/application and ensuring an integrated approach is used
- Act as Business Lead/Coordinator on large, complex departmental and/or some corporate projects/initiatives
- Participate in blue/purple team exercises, design and execute DR/BCP/IR tabletop exercises, update processes and documentation based on lessons learned
Required Qualifications
- A computer science related baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in IT in an enterprise environment
- Proven work experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities
- Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems
- Experience with a variety of development languages, including Apex
- Ability to quickly understand complicated data flows to identify and validate business requirements.
- A team player with the willingness to establish a strong positive working relationship with all areas of the business
- Ability to work effectively, independent of assistance or supervision
- Ability to clearly communicate IT matters to executives, auditors, end-users, and engineers using appropriate language, examples, and tone
Preferred
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
- Experience with Apex and SOQL
- Experience with NetSuite, ServiceNow, MuleSoft, and or IT or data center management systems

Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. This position will also be eligible for an annual bonus.
