Marketing & Social Media Intern

cieTrade provides software for companies that trade commodities such as pulp, paper or scrap material or that operate recycling facilities. We are looking for a college intern for Summer 2017 with a strong interest in digital marketing to help us manage and develop our online presence. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong interest in working in a small team environment at a leading edge technology company.

What you’ll be doing.

· Managing marketing campaigns --collecting and analyzing data.

· Launching and assisting with marketing, advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, email campaigns, etc.)

· Supporting content development for social media accounts & blogs (includes not only creating the content but also research, finding images for posts, etc.)

· Managing contact information and building targeted marketing lists.

· Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

What we're looking for.

· Extremely good writing and research skills.

· Comfortable working independently in a fast paced “startup” like environment.

· Basic knowledge of Photoshop or other photo software. Adobe Suite is a bonus.

· Familiarity with email marketing tools like MailChimp or Constant Contact.

· Experience with Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other social media platforms

· Experience with social media analytics: Google Analytics and Facebook Insights is a plus.

· Must be highly organized and productive

· Must be available to work full-time in Stamford CT.

This is a paid internship where you may also gain academic course credits if approved by your school. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week working from our Stamford CT office.
