About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Bespoke, you’ll play a foundational role in building our cutting-edge post-training platform from the ground up. You will collaborate closely with our team as well as enterprises to design technologies that enable enterprises to curate data and use RL for post-training models. Our work spans the full AI stack, from backend infrastructure to high-level applications. Ideal candidates are problem solvers who can understand the problem in a scientific way and can solve the problem practically.

What you will do

1. Build the post-training stack for SFT and RL that works reliably and can be containerized for deployments.

2. Create containerized environments for RL training of AI agents.

3. Design and develop backend systems for large-scale distributed systems that handle massive datasets.

4. Work on data generation and processing pipelines, creating scalable solutions for enterprise data ingestion and transformation.

5. Collaborate with AI researchers to implement new features and tools to the platform.

6. Help shape the core architecture of Bespoke’s platform and contribute to its long-term product vision.

Who you are

1. At least 2 years of experience in backend development, particularly in distributed systems.

2. Proficiency in languages like Python and experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, etc.).

3. Have experience designing robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and monitoring.

4. Ability to design systems that scale to handle large volumes of data and complex workflows.

5. A self-starter who is excited about working on hard technical problems in AI and data-centric platforms.

6. Past experience with open-source projects is a great plus.

7. Passionate about data curation and post-training.
