Aspen Academy has an amazing opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher and Auxiliary Program Manager at our Early Learning Division Campus for the 25-26 School Year!


Full Time | Onsite

Start Date: August 1, 2025

Hours: 10am - 5:45pm, Mon - Fri

Starting Salary:  $36,456 - $45,136 (based on education & experience step and ladder, max 9 years teaching experience credit)

What You’ll Do

  • Teaching: Provide effective, engaging, and well-planned instruction for varying levels of development, creating a nurturing environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning for Toddlers through Pre-Kindergarten students.
  • Curriculum and Assessment: Plan and implement a balanced curriculum that is engaging and developmentally appropriate in a preschool setting.
  • Daily Care and Routines: Supervise daily care routines and maintain a safe and clean environment compliant with regulations.
  • School Life Participation: Actively contribute to and champion a positive school culture, including participation in school events.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional growth, embrace coachability, and participate in professional development programs to improve teaching craft.
  • Licensed Care/Extended Care Program Management:
    • Develop, grow, and lead Aspen Academy’s Early Learning Division Extended Care Program, including supervision of staff, budget, and profitability.
    • Plan and implement engaging activities and manage daily operations, including snack menus and facility cleanliness.
    • Engage families through regular communication and assist the Early Learning Division Director with administrative tasks.
    • Ensure 100% compliance with all relevant CDEC Child Care Regulations, Health Department, and Fire Department regulations.

Salary Range: Starting annual salary $36,456 - $45,136 (based on education & experience step and ladder, max 9 years teaching experience credit)

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done

  • Required: Lead ECT qualified through education or PDIS Early Childhood Professional Credential Version 3.0 Colorado Shines Credential Level 2 or higher.
  • Preferred: Early Childhood Director qualified.  
  • Required: 1-2+ years’ experience working in licensed programs.  
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or some college level coursework, preferably in education, early childhood education, child development, etc.
  • Preferred: 1-2+ years demonstrated experience leading and managing staff and a childcare program.
  • Preferred: CPR, First Aid Training.
  • Minimum: high energy, passion for teaching great kids.
  • Demonstrated excellence in:
  • Cultivating students’ curiosity, engagement, growth, and performance in academic, intellectual, social and emotional domains. 
  • Written and oral communications skills
  • Strong time, organization and project management skills
  • Social and emotional intelligence 
  • Interpersonal skills, and use of diplomacy and tact with all constituents
  • Cultural competency
  • Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Google and learning management systems (Blackbaud preferred)  
  • Grant permission for a background check.
