Job Description
This Operations Planning Manager is responsible for providing support to the Omnichannel sales organization and will be instrumental in supporting the Sales Operations function along with the Collaborative Business Planning (CBP) process. Additionally the Operations Planning Manager will provide valuable insights, facilitating communication between departments, and ensuring that business planning processes are executed effectively.
What You Need to Know:
- Coordinate division forecast change decomposition (i.e. what changed and why)
- Ongoing review of sales orders and ensure alignment with Customer Service on process of updating/changing.
- Coordinate alignment with Operations on supply plan view and changes. Present monthly report of changes and risks / opportunities to sales forecast for both demand and supply.
- Coordinate communication of new product launches and exits to ensure that all parties are aligned and forecasts are updated accordingly.
- Data Management: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to business planning, sales forecasts, and supply chain management – Using tools provided through CBP and in coordination with Data Management team
- Process Improvement: Working closely with Sales Excellence & CBP on implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our day to day ways of working
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinating with various departments such as Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing & IT to ensure alignment and collaboration on business planning activities
- Reporting and Documentation: Preparing reports and documentation to support decision-making and provide insights into business performance
- Project Management: Assisting in the management of CBP-related projects in line with overall strategic goals of the organization
- Liaison between Sales leaders/Sales Excellence/Operations on product transfers
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field or supply chain management required
- 3-5 years’ experience in Sale Operations or Supply Chain Operations
- Strong communication skills; able to build rapport cross-functionally, influence and prioritize.
- Adept at performing with corporate agility as well as maintaining flexibility as new information is presented
- High proficiency in entire Microsoft office suite of products.
- Capable of synthesizing data and translating into tactical execution and strategic direction
- Project management competency
