What you can offer us:
- Assist in preparation of annual and monthly budgets, variance reporting, forecasts.
- Report monthly results to department leads, provide detail as needs, assist in updating forecasts.
- Ensure financial controls are in place and are working in the business
- Understand and lead effort improve and streamline recurring revenue
- Work with CFO, design financial dashboards, update metrics, report results, identify issues.
- With CFO, provide financial analysis to the business as needed including market analysis, margin analysis, pricing support, customer/product profitability.
- Oversee and manage daily accounting needs including payables, billing/collections, bank accounts, inventory.
- Manage month end closing through balance sheet within 5 business days including reconciliations.
- Lead the accounting processes including financial statement preparation, month end close, journal entry preparation, and transaction processing.
- Manage and streamline month-end accounting process, ensuring conformance with US GAAP including assessments and action plans associated with the implementation of new standards (e.g., ASC 606 and ACS 842).
- Research professional GAAP literature and draft appropriate memoranda to support the company's application of GAAP for specific issues.
- Ensure the successful completion of the end-year audit and support AI's relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and consultants.
- Manage and oversee sales tax compliance, registration, filing and any updates to sales tax law.

Requirements
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
- 8 years in corporate accounting, 4 years in a Controller role or related position.
- Experience with large ERP systems with preference for Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains experience.
- 5 years of leadership/direct supervision experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; self-starter, independent, does not require a lot supervision.
- Strong process implementation and internal control skills, desire and ability to define efficient process and follow process carefully, attention to detail and passion for getting the details right, organized.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting
- Experience with HR, Audits, and Commercial Insurance
- Professional certifications, Big 4, CPA
- Experience with acquisitions on the buy and/or sell side
