Finance Specialist (Fractional Role)
Job Description
Zipdev is looking for a Finance Specialist to join our client's team on a Fractional basis (10 Hours per Week)!
We’re seeking a highly reliable and proactive Fractional Finance Specialist to support the financial operations of multiple business and personal entities. This is a strategic, long-term opportunity to become a trusted financial partner to the leadership team behind multiple high-growth ventures.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee financial operations across:
- Three separate companies.
- Two households.
- Create and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor cash flow and proactively flag issues or opportunities.
- Prepare reports and financial insights to support leadership decisions.
- Reconcile accounts and oversee bookkeeping functions.
- Liaise with accountants, tax advisors, and other financial professionals as needed.
- Recommend and implement financial tools or process improvements.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality and data integrity.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and think strategically.
- High integrity and discretion with sensitive financial data.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Excel and financial tools (QuickBooks or similar).
- Tech-savvy; comfortable learning and using new platforms.
- Prior experience working with executives, entrepreneurs, or high-trust roles preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with automation tools (e.g. Notion, Power BI, Zapier, etc.)
- Familiarity with U.S. or international financial reporting
