World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL services its loan portfolio and loan portfolios for third parties, specializing in the management of non-performing loan pools and REO.

WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.

This is a remote Contract/Consultant position.

Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.

Job Description:

Analitics Analyst will be responsible for analyzing vast amounts of data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that support business strategies. This role requires expertise in data science, with a strong focus on handling large datasets, advanced analytical techniques, and the ability to work with software tools designed for big data. The Analitics Analyst will collaborate with various departments, including financial planning and analytics, to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Essential Functions:

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.
• Manage and organize large-scale datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency. Utilize big data tools and technologies to process, analyze, and derive meaningful insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Support the development and implementation of comprehensive reporting suites across the organization.
• Assist with other projects and duties as assigned by the Business Analytics Manager.

• 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or related roles preferred.
• Advanced Excel and SQL experience required.
• Expertise in data science techniques, including data mining, statistical analysis.
• Strong software development background, with experience using big data tools.
• Industry experience in banking is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience required.
• You must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment)
