The Role
We are seeking a Manager of Cabinetry Operations & Production to lead the execution of high-end, custom cabinetry projects with a focus on delivering an exceptional client experience. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on project management, requiring deep expertise in custom cabinetry, millwork, production workflows, and reporting. You will oversee a skilled team to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of luxury craftsmanship.
- Lead a team and cross-functional partners overseeing cabinetry logistics, technical design, and installation services, fostering a client-first mindset and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Resolve service escalations related to cabinetry with urgency and professionalism, ensuring client satisfaction through timely, effective solutions.
- Manage quarterly shipping forecasts and maintain executive-level reporting dashboards to track performance metrics and project milestones.
- Oversee the Certified Installer Program, including the vetting, onboarding, and training of new installers to uphold quality and service standards.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to team members to enhance technical skills, service delivery, and overall performance.
- Champion a culture of innovation, modeling company values and encouraging process enhancements across all cabinetry operations.
- Develop and implement concierge-level service standards for cabinetry projects, ensuring alignment with luxury client expectations.
- Manage showroom cabinetry projects, including timeline oversight and cross-functional coordination to ensure stakeholder alignment and clear communication.
- Leverage technology to optimize project management workflows and monitor client satisfaction metrics, including Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, promoting collaboration and a shared commitment to service excellence.
- Other duties and accountabilities as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a luxury kitchen or bath design environment, with a strong blend of product knowledge and operational leadership.
- In-depth understanding of custom cabinetry manufacturing, including logistics and installation processes; hands-on experience is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex timelines, and drive results in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
- Demonstrated strength in problem-solving and innovation, especially in time-sensitive or high-stakes project environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with project management software is required.
- Exceptional attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, listen actively, and build consensus.
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management credentials are a plus. Travel required up to 40% to client sites, showrooms, and corporate offices as needed.
