As a software engineer, you will be part of our People Technology team to help deliver world class software for our business partners. You will report to the engineering manager and work as an individual contributor participating in designing and development of software. This role will have collaboration with business partners, multiple Visa IT teams and third-party vendors. The portfolio includes SaaS and hosted packaged applications such as Workday, Cornerstone, ADP, SmartRecruiters, ServiceNow, and some homegrown solutions.

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer that will design and develop high volume, low latency applications for mission-critical system, delivering high availability. You will support web-based application development and maintenance and contribute to and grow our software engineering competency. The Fullstack Developer must have broad experience in web application development.

Develop code that aligns with design specifications and meets security and standard coding quality processes. Coding must adhere to all standards for security & quality, be easily maintainable and have high system performance.
Build conceptual architecture diagrams, design documents, maintain code repository, build unit/functional tests, and assist with code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications:
Associate: Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
Associate: 2 or more years of work experience

Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.

Experience in full stack technology, in one or more of the following technologies - Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, NoSQL, Maven, Design Patterns, Test Automation framework.
Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, jQuery and Less.js
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
Experience with databases (e.g. MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
Experience with agile development incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, and Jenkins.
Ability to create wireframes and responsive designs that result in a great user experience.
