Job Description
Conduct data analysis using Visa and external data to understand client needs across the focus markets and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with clients across their assigned region
Provide support in developing country plans for consulting activity with clients, securing funds from partnership agreements to support consulting projects where such agreements exist
Work closely with the engagement team, manager and client representative to deliver the projects
Run project work stream on a day-to-day basis, including conducting research and data analysis and synthesizing them to develop insights and recommendations
Assume full project management responsibility for the assigned project and be the primary liaison with the client and internal stakeholders for project updates
Support or lead on developing hypotheses, contribute to conclusions and assist other senior team members in presenting back to the client
Support or lead on project economics and to manage risk and quality of the project deliverables
Provide client project implementation support
Help develop and deliver client training programs and impart best practices knowledge sharing to Visa clients
Support knowledge sharing with consulting teams in other regions to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clients
Support the team in developing and bringing the Visa Consulting & Analytics proposition in the market
Manage the preparation of proposals for new client work
Contribute to the development of Visa Consulting & Analytics thought leadership materials
Support business development initiatives by assisting in developing our product offerings, and marketing to external and internal clients
Carrying out other ad hoc support and internal team projects
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree with 12-15 years of progressively responsible business
experience in Digital payments, Retail Banking, Management Consulting or
Corporate Strategy. A master’s degree would be an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience working in one or more large card payment markets around the
globe
•Good understanding of the Payments and Banking Industry
•Good knowledge of data, market and business intelligence
•Demonstrated ability to incorporate new techniques to solve business
problems
•Consulting skills and client engagement capabilities.
•Advanced client management and presentation skills.
•Credibility with clients and working teams and applying diplomacy to extract
desired outcomes.
•Comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients
and Visa
•Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
•Superior project management skills. Fluent communicator
•Self-motivated and able to use own initiative with limited direction
•Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively
with inter-disciplinary group
•Experience building and cultivating teams
•Experience planning, organizing, and managing multiple large projects with
diverse cross-functional teams
•Demonstrated resource planning and delivery skills
•Able to deliver results within committed scope, timeline and budget
•Very strong people/project management skills and experience
•Able to travel within MENA on short notice
•Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
•Fluency in English mandatory. Arabic desired but not a prerequisite
•Business Experience
•Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated
intellectual and analytical rigor
•Good business acumen with a track record in solving business problems
through data-driven quantitative methodologies.
•Experience in payment, retail banking, or retail merchant industries is preferred
•Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style
•Detail oriented, expected to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports and
data analysis
•Proven skills in translating analytics output to actionable recommendations
and delivery
•Experience in presenting ideas and analysis to stakeholders whilst tailoring
data-driven results to various audience levels
•Exhibits intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous learning
