We are a Series A SaaS company and provide the system of record for event marketing. Our software platform provides proprietary insights that helps high-growth companies find the highest ROI events, conferences and trade shows to attend and sponsor. We have built an AI-powered platform that customers describe as an event marketer’s dream.

Vendelux was founded in 2021, and our recent $14 million Series A was led by FirstMark, whose portfolio includes companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Discord, Airbnb, Draft Kings, Carta and Justworks (amongst others). Our leadership team includes alumni from Shutterstock, Bain, ZoomInfo, Zulily, NewtonX and Compass.

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead and coordinate software product development initiatives. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and data to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact software products. You’ll drive planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication across the full software development lifecycle.

This is an onsite role that will be based out of our NYC HQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics. Own day-to-day execution and delivery.

• Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration between engineering, product, design, QA, and other stakeholders to remove blockers and keep teams aligned.

• Agile Process Management: Coordinate standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to agile best practices.

• Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and resolve issues as they arise.

• Communication & Reporting: Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders. Track and communicate progress, risks, and decisions.

• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management processes, tools, and communication workflows.
  

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a software product engineering environment.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and technical terminology.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Linear, Confluence, Asana, Trello, or similar.

• PMP, CSM, or similar certification is a plus but not required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
