Senior Software Developer -IBM AS/400

ValueSync is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with expertise in IBM AS/400 to join our Client's innovative team. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications on the IBM AS/400 system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to AS/400 development.
• Document technical specifications and user guides for software applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically with IBM AS/400 systems.
• Strong knowledge of RPG, CL, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with database management systems such as DB2.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
