Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Front-end Software Development Engineer to join our team and work with us on international projects.
At Kiwee, you will be a part of a small, highly professional, skilled team. You will help us build a strong position in the eCommerce software services market.

You will build user-friendly web interfaces and custom web applications for eCommerce customers, both businesses and individual shoppers.

Please note that this is a remote position with around 2 weeks per year in the Wrocław. Please apply if you are in the same time zone and can travel easily to Wrocław if requested.

Your main roles will be:

  • Understanding business requirements and making technical decisions accordingly.
  • Implementing new features with high-quality, clean, and testable code.
  • Writing tests and maintaining them as part of the development process.
  • Doing peer code reviews.
  • Extending documentation.
  • Sharing knowledge on our blog and giving presentations for the team.
  • Contributing to open-source projects.

You are an ideal candidate if:

  • You have three years of working experience in Javascript and you know how to write clean and testable code.
  • You have practical knowledge of TypeScript.
  • You are advanced in CSS 3 and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
  • You have experience with responsive web design.
  • Accessibility principles is what you always follow.
  • Experience in working with REST APIs (including GraphQL).
  • You gained experience with one (or more) major JS frameworks (React, Vue.js).
  • You have experience with front-end development tools such as Webpack, Vite.
  • You can’t imagine pushing code without tests (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
  • You use Git, merging and rebasing is no secret skill to you.
  • Very good writing skills and clear, concise, and structured language.
  • You speak very good English, and great communication complete your profile. Polish is not required.

Nice to have skills:

  • You know how to use Docker for development purposes.
  • You have experience with Next.js or Nuxt web frameworks and familiar with SSR and SSG.
  • You are familiar with Continuous Integration practices and tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab, GitHub Actions.
  • You have already worked in agile methodologies.

Salary ranges

9.100 - 14.000 PLN gross (Job contract according to Polish Labour Law(available only to people who live and work in Poland))
10.963 - 16.867 PLN net (B2B (available to all))

2.579 - 3.968 EUR net (B2B(available to all)).
