Join our team as an Entry-Level Salesforce nCino Developer to support the design, configuration, development, and deployment of solutions on the Salesforce and nCino platforms. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to grow their technical skills in cloud-based enterprise development with a focus on the commercial banking domain.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

1.       Assist in developing and customizing Salesforce and nCino solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative tools.

2.       Configure nCino Commercial Banking modules (e.g., Loan Origination, Document Manager) under the guidance of senior team members.

3.       Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

4.       Perform unit testing and assist in integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).

5.       Support application troubleshooting and bug fixing in sandbox and production environments.

6.       Document technical configurations, code components, and process flows.

7.       Learn and apply Agile/Scrum development practices.

8.       Collaborate with business analysts, testers, product owners, and senior developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1.       High School diploma or GED Knowledge of programming software applications with up to four years of experience

2.       Foundational knowledge of business concepts and terms

3.       Effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing basic information about technical designs and system requirements

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1.       Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of work experience in IT

2.       Knowledge of specific applications, systems, or business segments

3.       Banking or financial services experience

4.       Exposure to Salesforce development (e.g., Apex, LWC, Flows).

5.       Experience with Salesforce tools like Data Loader, Workbench, or Developer Console.

6.       Internship or project experience with any CRM or financial services platform.

7.       Solid knowledge of relational database design and development (i.e. SQL)

8.       Experience developing code or technical configuration of business processes on an Agile team

9.       Professional experience building apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level

10.   Knowledge of one or more of the following: Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills

11.   Experience with Open Source tools and frameworks. Strong understanding of SOA methodologies and service architectures. Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies

12.   Solid knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling)

13.   Experience with messaging systems (i.e., MQ and JMS)

14.   Experience with build tools, such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins

15.   Proven ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests
