Job Duties:

  • Utilize software and engineering tools, skills, and knowledge to develop, evaluate, maintain, and improve UnitX’s applications.

  • Conduct systems analysis to identify areas for improvements, stability, and reliability of the application.

  • Ownership of developing and maintaining full-stack applications, including both front-end and back-end components.

  • Enhance the usability and workflow of software systems by implementing intuitive user interfaces and optimizing user interactions.

  • Evaluate the operational feasibility of proposed solutions by conducting thorough analysis, defining problems, assessing requirements, and determining the most suitable technical approaches.

  • Design and maintain the architecture of the software system, ensuring scalability, modularity, and maintainability.

  • Make architectural decisions that align with project requirements and best practices.

  • Collaborate with team members to set project goals, define technical tasks, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery including mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers to foster their professional growth.

  • Analyze existing software systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend changes in policies, procedures, and technologies to enhance overall system performance and efficiency.

  • Participate in all stages of the SDLC, including scoping requirements, designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications.

  • Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and utilize source control management tools.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, including communicate project updates, technical concepts, and challenges.

  • Identify and debug software issues, investigate root causes, and implement appropriate solutions to ensure the stability and reliability of the application.

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to full-stack development.

  • Continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills through self-learning and professional development activities.

  • Utilize the following tools and technologies to perform the above duties: Python, Linux, with Git, PyTorch, SQL Database, SQL databases, OpenCV, and JavaScript/React.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related field, and three (3) years of experience in Full Stack Software Engineering including (1) Performing full stack development including front-end and back-end technologies and perform coding in multiple stacks and frameworks (2) Enhancing the usability and workflow of software systems, ensuring an intuitive user experience and efficient processes (3) Evaluating the operational feasibility of proposed solutions by conducting thorough analysis, defining problems, and assessing requirements; and (4) Making architectural decisions, designing scalable and maintainable software systems, and ensuring code quality and robustness.
