Responsibilities
Performs ultrasound exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director; Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging test inclusive of positioning patient, equipment management, and documentation of findings.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- None
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree
- Highly Preferred: Breast Imaging registry.
Required Licensure and Certifications
- ARDMS or ARRT
- CPR-BLS through American Heart Association within 14 days
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
- Good alpha/numeric dexterity and handwriting skills.
- Interpersonal skills for communication with patients, visitors, physicians and other hospital personnel.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills.
