About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst to manage payroll operations across India, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, and Hong Kong. You’ll work closely with our payroll service provider to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery for around 700 employees. In this role, you’ll take ownership of payroll processes across multiple countries, with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and operational excellence.

 

What You'll Do:

·       Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across India, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, and Hong Kong.

·       Act as the main point of contact with our external payroll service provider, ensuring SLAs, quality, and compliance are met.

·       Handle monthly payroll inputs, validations, approvals, and funding requests.

·       Stay up to date with statutory requirements and regulatory changes across the five countries, ensuring full compliance.

·       Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams locally and globally to align on employee data, compensation changes, taxes, benefits, etc.

·       Own the year-end activities – tax filings, reporting, reconciliations (Form 16s, IR8A,IR56B, IR56E/F/G Payment Summaries, etc.).

·       Audit payroll reports and address any discrepancies quickly and effectively.

·       Drive process improvements to make payroll operations more efficient and employee-friendly.

·       Support audits (internal/external) and SOX compliance where needed.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

 

 

 

 

What You'll Need:

·       5+ years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably managing multi-country payrolls.

·       Strong working knowledge of India payroll is a must; knowledge of Singapore, South Korea, Australia, and Hong Kong payroll practices is a big plus.

·       Experience working with a third-party payroll service provider.

·       Solid understanding of local tax laws, statutory requirements, and social security (PF, Gratuity, etc.) for India and familiarity with other markets.

·       International exposure - comfortable working with global teams across different time zones.

·       High attention to detail and strong analytical skills -  you spot mistakes others miss.

·       Ability to work independently, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines.

·       Excellent Excel skills and comfortable handling large data sets.

·       Good communication skills -  clear, concise, and proactive.

·       A degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field is preferred.

 

Nice to Have:

·       Experience with payroll tools like ADP, Workday, SAP, CloudPay would a plus, or other global platforms.

·       Exposure to HRIS systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.).

·       SOX controls or audit exposure.
