Role Description
As a Sales and Partnership Intern, you will play a key role in expanding Trafcio Africa’s market presence. You’ll support outreach efforts, identify business opportunities, build lasting partnerships, and help grow our customer base across various sectors. This role is ideal for someone who is business-savvy, goal-oriented, and passionate about digital innovation in Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and partners
- Reach out to prospective clients via email, LinkedIn, and calls
- Support the sales team in client onboarding and relationship management
- Help create partnership proposals and presentations
- Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and track outreach progress
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align partnership goals with campaigns
- Attend virtual events, pitch sessions, or webinars as a brand representative
- Prepare weekly reports and insights on outreach performance
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet outreach targets
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) is an advantage
- Passion for tech, startups, and contributing to Africa’s digital growth
- Performance-based commissions for each successful deal or partnership
- Hands-on experience in B2B sales, business development, and client management
