Day to day this role will
The role of Tillo’s Finance Manager will contribute significantly to develop a finance team that is of the highest operational quality for a fast growing FinTech business. With the finance team’s focusing on delivering excellent service to customers, suppliers and business stakeholders.
Main duties and areas of responsibility:
Responsible for the finance operations of the department specifically purchase ledger control activities, international control and external query management.
Assist in the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for Financial Controller review and sign off.
Responsible for the preparation of financial statements for audit requirements.
To aid with the completing tax compliance (sales tax, R&D, income and corporate tax) for the group together with ensuring all payment deadlines are met.
Ensure that reconciliations are complete and investigate and resolve differences.
Resolve queries that arise from internal and external sources in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure the highest level of financial control is adhered to within the team together with nominal ledger integrity and accuracy.
Support the Financial Controller with key information for strategic planning and delivery of finance projects.
Build effective relationships with external advisors and key stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
Essential:
Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Proven & demonstrable technical ability
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to reconcile complex accounts
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Flexible working approach and able to prioritise
Customer focused and committed department objectives
It’s not essential, but we’d love to hear about it if you have experience with
International finance experience, specifically US and Europe
