Job Description
Thinc Forward is seeking a strategic and innovative Director of HR to lead our human resources department. This hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) is based in West Chester, PA, and requires a dynamic leader who can align HR strategies with our business goals while fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management, talent acquisition, organizational development, and employee engagement.
Hours:
Salary position with a schedule of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday, with occasional work required past 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with Thinc Forward’s business objectives and promote a high-performing, collaborative culture.
- Oversee talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a comprehensive recruiting strategy to attract and retain top talent.
- Implement employee development programs, performance management processes, and succession planning to support professional growth and employee retention.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR matters, including employee relations, compliance, and organizational change initiatives.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining accurate records and policies that protect the organization.
- Lead organizational development initiatives to improve company culture, team performance, and employee well-being.
- Act as a change agent in the organization, promoting HR best practices and ensuring positive workplace experiences for all employees.
- Monitor HR metrics and analyze trends to drive strategic improvements and support company-wide communication.
- Support HR Manager with payroll management, HRIS, benefits administration, broker relationships, and employee relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP or SPHR) is preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a director or senior HR management role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices, including talent management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organizational effectiveness.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in change management and fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity for our remote workforce.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
