Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the clinical manager and therapy staff at RFW
- Assists the Clinical Managers in coordinating staff training and keeps timely training records for all staff on campus.
- Assists Clinical Manager in coordinating programs admissions, LOAs, hospital transfers and discharges in Aura
- Schedules necessary appointments and transportation for patients as requested by clinical team
- Provides communication with medical team relating to but not limited to:
a) Prescriptions from outside provider
b) Medical complaints and tasking in Aura
c) Prescription refill requests
d) Medication reconciliation: notifies medical team regarding admissions and discharges and obtaining prescriptions
e) Communicate with pharmacy and medical team to assure continuity of medical care
f) Ordering of medical supplies
- Creates intake packets for new patients and assures these are up to date, complete and available for new admissions
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies for the staff and orders when needed with approval from management.
- Ordering inventory, maintaining stock, facilitating transactions and communicating with Gift Shop Manager to maintain necessary inventory at the RFW patient store.
- Provide group coverage as needed
- Provide monitoring of medication self-administration as needed
- Support mealtime distribution as needed
- Provide patient transportation as needed
- Attends mandatory GRC training and in-services as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- General office procedure knowledge and experience.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of WORD and Excel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Post high school or business/secretarial school preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Pass PA Criminal History Background Check
- Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances
- Pass Drug Screen
- TB Test
- Understanding addiction and recovery is helpful.
