School-Based Audiologist (Part-Time, In-Person) – Wylie, TX

We're seeking a dedicated, experienced Audiologist to join our team in a part-time, in-person role based in Wylie, Texas—a vibrant suburb of Dallas.

What You’ll Do

In this in-person role, you’ll work on-site in schools, providing direct audiological services and consultative support to school teams and families. You will be an essential part of the student support system, helping ensure hearing needs are identified and addressed early and effectively.

  • Conduct hearing screenings, evaluations, and audiological assessments
  • Interpret audiometric data and provide recommendations for services or accommodations
  • Consult with teachers, school staff, and families on hearing-related needs and strategies
  • Coordinate and support the management of hearing devices (e.g., hearing aids, FM systems)
  • Assist in determining eligibility and services as part of the IEP/ARD process
  • Provide follow-up services and documentation as required by the district

To apply, you should have:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Audiology
  • Current Texas state audiology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA
  • At least 2 years of experience in pediatric or school-based settings
  • Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week during the 2025–2026 school year
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience participating in IEP/ARD meetings
    • Familiarity with school-based service delivery models
    • Knowledge of assistive hearing technology used in educational settings
    • Comfortable providing in-services or training to school staff
