Job Description

The Role:

As our Senior Data Analyst & Report Writer, you’ll turn complex data into clear insights. You’ll take the lead on designing, automating, and enhancing reporting across internal systems and key accounts, partnering with internal stakeholders to improve transparency and decision-making, supporting our journey into AI-driven analytics and bring best practises to life across the business.

You’ll sit within the Business Applications team – part of our wider tech function – and play a key role in how we measure success, optimise performance, and future-proof our operations.

Responsibilities:

Client Reporting & Insights:

  • Design, automate and manage dashboards for high-value clients
  • Combine data from internal systems with external market insights
  • Set visual standards and tell clear stories through data
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy and reliability across all reporting

Internal Operations & Systems Reporting

  • Build dashboards that track sales activity and tool usage
  • Identify patterns between sales activity, system usage and financial outcomes
  • Support AI initiatives by developing reporting around process efficiency

Business Report Optimisation & Automation

  • Maintain and enhance existing reporting frameworks
  • Deliver best practice recommendations
  • Automate recurring operational, advertising and candidate reports
  • Create ad-hoc reporting to support data-led decision making
  • Train internal users on how to access and interpret reports

AI Upskilling & Future-Proofing

  • Develop AI literacy and apply AI tools to enhance reporting
  • Explore opportunities for intelligent reporting automation
  • Participate in L&D programs to learn emerging tech capabilities

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Act as a reporting SME – recommending best-practice frameworks and tools
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and deliver iterative improvements

Enable data-driven decision-making across Talent’s recruitment operations, client services, and strategic initiatives by delivering visually compelling and insightful reporting outputs

Qualifications

You’re technically strong, commercially aware, and passionate about using data to drive change. You can zoom in on detail and zoom out to see the big picture. Most importantly, you’re someone who’s excited about helping others understand data and use it well.

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years in data analytics, BI or reporting
  • Advanced Power BI development and DAX expertise
  • Strong SQL and data modelling capabilities
  • Experience working across multiple systems environments (e.g. ATS, CRM, finance)
  • Proven ability to build executive-level dashboards
  • AI/ML coursework or certification desirable
  • Experience with Python or similar languages desirable
  • Clear communicator with a flair for visual storytelling
  • Strong process orientation and problem-solving mindset
  • Microsoft Power BI certification desirable
  • AI/ML certification or training desirable
