GENERAL SUMMARY


The Sr. Analyst, FP&A has a highly visible role that will work closely with all levels of the organization. The.Sr. Analyst, FP&A's primary responsibility is to assist the operations team and practice leadership with pro forma P&L’s, ROIs, and break-even analysis on organic growth opportunities. The Sr. Analyst, FP&A also assists in a variety of financial activities including forecasting, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/COMPETENCIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Leads on pro forma P&L’s, ROIs, and break-even analysis on organic growth opportunities.
  • Works closely with the operations teams and practice leadership on pro formas.
  • Assists in annual budget, financial reporting, and monthly forecasting process.
  • Develops financial models and communicates results through clear, concise verbal and written reports.
  • Evaluates financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Drives continuous improvement of financial reporting, budgeting, and modeling processes.
  • Identifies ways to improve profitability and propose operational improvements to managers.
  • Develops financial models with guidance and influenceS strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
  • Maintains confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
  • Performs other position related duties as assigned.
  • Employees shall adhere to high standards of ethical conduct and will comply with and assist in complying with all applicable laws and regulations. KNOWLEDGE | SKILLS | ABILITIES


  • Advanced Excel skills and functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business partnering skills and collaboration across multiple departments.
  • Ability to update reports/dashboards and provide analysis.
  • Business Intelligence software (Adaptive, Tableau, etc) preferred.
  • Familiarity with large scale ERP or G/L package (Microsoft Dynamics GP) preferred.
  • Complies with all health and safety policies of the organization.
  • Complies with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Master’s in Finance or Business preferred.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • 4+ years finance experience in Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting required.
  • Healthcare industry experience required.
